Tourism in Action Workbook – resources for successful tourism businesses

Tourism in Action is a new resource developed to help operators make an informed decision on whether they have what it takes to operate a successful tourism business.

Whether you are an operator wanting to start out in tourism or aiming to develop an existing tourism venture, this workbook is designed for you.

The Tourism in Action workbook contains recent case studies and examples of best business practice as well as information on meeting any regulatory requirements, setting quality standards and planning your marketing, sales and distribution.

There are some handy check lists as well as an A to Z of organisations and terms that you will come across in the tourism industry.

 Tourism in Action CD Rom (previously Tourism Business Builder) – free to TIA Members only!

The Tourism Business Builder has been revamped and relaunched as the Tourism in Action CD Rom – resources for successful tourism businesses. This new software is a resource that you can go back to again and again.

Tourism in Action CD Rom is designed to help you build a better business. There are 8 modules that cover developing your idea to assessing business performance.

Each module encourages you to enter your thoughts and ideas. These are entered into an action plan which can be printed out or saved to your computer’s hard drive.

You’ll find tutorials and articles designed to give you more help with various topics and you can enter information into Word and Excel templates, saving you time and effort in implementing your ideas.
