Five-star retreat amongst the tree tops

Architecturally designed to leave the lightest possible footprint on the earth, Te Waonui Forest Retreat in Franz Josef Glacier is the only five-star hotel on the South Island’s magnificent West Coast.

The luxury eco-designed retreat is set in an ancient rainforest at the foot of one of New Zealand’s most spectacular glaciers.
