Practical tips to save money & energy
Energy audits of 25 TIA members found potential savings of more than 6.8GWh and $800,000 in energy costs – many of the measures could be implemented for little or no cost. On average, the audits identified savings of 15% of energy use and 15% of energy costs.
The energy audits were funded under a joint TIA and Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority programme for TIA members.

Fuel Efficiency Stocktake of Tourist Flight Operators
A 2009 fuel efficiency stocktake of tourism flight operators identified ways to reduce fuel consumption and improve profit margins.
