Save Energy and Save Money

On this page you will find practical tips and case studies from tourism operators that will help you save energy and save money (potentially tens of thousands of dollars), plus information about government services and funding.

Practical tips to save money & energy

Energy audits of 25 TIA members found potential savings of more than 6.8GWh and $800,000 in energy costs – many of the measures could be implemented for little or no cost. On average, the audits identified savings of 15% of energy use and 15% of energy costs.

The energy audits were funded under a joint TIA and Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority programme for TIA members.
