Tourism Future Statement 2011-14
TIA launched the Tourism Future Statement 2011-14 The Visitor Economy: Creating Wealth in August 2011. The document sets out the tourism industry’s top five priorities for the incoming government after the 26 November 2011 General Election.
Tourism is a positive, forward-looking industry with an unwavering belief in its ability to deliver increased wealth and jobs for New Zealanders. We want to continue working in partnership with the government to create profitable businesses and position the visitor economy at the heart of New Zealand’s growth agenda.
